Our answering service will either page a doctor from our hospital who will return your call, or you may be referred to one of the following emergency hospitals: Farmington Valley Veterinary Emergency Hospital, LLC or Cheshire Veterinary Emergerncy Hospital. Many of these emergency situations require continual observation and treatment throughout the night.
The Farmington Valley Veterinary Emergency Hospital is located at 9 Avonwood Road just of f Route 10 in Avon, about 1/4 mile from the Route 44 intersection with route 10 (Avon Old Farms Inn). If travelling from Route 4 in Farmington, turn onto route 10 and Avonwood Rd. is 5.1 miles down on the left. (860) 674-1886.
