Our Payment Options

On a Budget? Not a Problem! Chippens Hills Veterinary Hospital Accepts Many Forms of Payment.

Our team of veterinarians in Bristol wants your pet to be healthy and stay healthy. We also understand that making our pets’ lives better comes with costs. To maximize client convenience and to ensure pets get the best veterinary care possible, Chippens Hills Veterinary Hospital offers multiple payment options.

We routinely accept payment in the form of cash, check, debit card, CareCredit, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Wells Fargo, and American Express.

Payment is expected at the time of service. For some treatments or hospitalized care, a deposit may be required. Healthcare requiring comprehensive in-hospital care will require a 50% deposit to begin your pet’s treatment.

Chippens Hill Veterinary Hospital charges $25 for returned checks in addition to the original balance. A fee of $80.00 may be charged for clients who miss or cancel more than three appointments in a calendar year without 24 hours’ notice.

Financing Options

Chippens Hill Veterinary Hospital understands there are times when an unexpected medical need can create an unexpected expense. This is why we offer CareCredit pet healthcare financing as an option to help you finance the cost of keeping your pet heathy.

How does it work?

CareCredit is a financing option for you to utilize for care and products with us. CareCredit has flexible financing options for unexpected situations from emergencies to dental procedures ensuring that pets get the care they need, and pet owners get the peace of mind they deserve.

You can either complete an application at the hospital, or you may apply online at your convenience. If you are approved, you will be able to use your CareCredit account that same day.

Please be advised that payment is due at the time services are rendered.

Pet Health Insurance

There are many products on the market to choose from, we believe it is important that our clients review options and select a pet health insurance plan that is right for them. Click here to visit our pet health insurance page.

We are happy to provide you with the necessary documentation to submit a claim to your pet insurance carrier. Please bring your insurance forms to your appointment to expedite the process. All insurance plans may be used at Chippens Hill Veterinary Hospital.

In addition to our variety of payment options, we offer some special discounts, such as:

  • Military discount – Currently we offer a 10% discount on veterinary care to active, inactive or retired military members.
  • Senior discount – We offer all seniors 65+ a 5% discount off veterinary services
